A virtual tour of Reception- we hope you will choose Fairchildes as the school for your child

To apply for a Reception place starting in September 2027 you must complete the following steps.

1. Visit www.croydon.gov.uk/admissions for information about schools and a guide to the steps in the application process.

2. Apply through an eAdmissions account at www.eadmissions.org.uk

Please note that attending our nursery does not guarantee a Reception place — families must still submit a formal application.

When completing your online application you must specify whether your child has a sibling who will still be attending the school in September 2027.

If you are offered a Reception place you must either accept or decline the offer through your eAdmissions account.

Important Dates

Autumn 2026: Open days and tours for prospective parents. (Dates will be advertised on the website and school Facebook page.)
15th January 2027: Primary application closing date. Your application must be completed and submitted to the council by this date. If you apply after this date, this will be considered a late application.
1st March 2027: National Offer Day. You will be able to view your school outcome online and accept or decline the offer.
15th March 2027: Deadline to accept or decline the offered school place.
